Doppler Automotive, Inc., “Doppler,” focuses on on-demand services for the automotive industry in the United States. Our mission is simple—to revolutionize the customer experience around car shopping and ownership. Doppler Automotive enables true, consumer-first, at-home retailing for automotive OEMs and dealers through anywhere, anytime, brand and product experiences. The Doppler platform combines a proprietary reservation and dispatch system with a national network of specialized delivery agents to provide services like at-home test drives, service pickup and drop off and post-purchase delivery.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes the types of personal information we collect from visitors to our website and users of our Mobile Applications (collectively “Online Services”). This Policy not only sets forth how we use this information, but also provides other details about our personal information practices, and explains how to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

By using this site, you agree to the terms of this Policy. Whenever you submit information via this app, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of the information in accordance with this Policy.

Types of information we collect and how it is used. When utilizing the Drive Agent App you may be asked to enter your name, email address, telephone number and/or other details. Doppler gathers such personal information only for business purposes – to assign tasks to you as a drive agent or to manage tasks assigned to you.


Sharing of personal information

Doppler app may be shared internally within Doppler, including our franchisees, our subsidiaries, and our affiliates. Personal information that you submit to Doppler may be disclosed to a third party such as our vendors/suppliers and/or clients, to meet the purpose for which it was submitted. Of course, any use of this information by Doppler and its affiliates will comply with this Policy. Occasionally, we may send additional information to you, such as alerts about training, information about new product offerings, etc.


In addition, when you visit user the Doppler app, we may collect certain information by automated means. The information we collect may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, computer/mobile device operating system and browser type, type of mobile device, the location of mobile device, the Unique Device Identifier (UDID) or Mobile Equipment Identifier (MEID), the network carrier or any other information about your mobile device, the address of a referring website (if any), and the functions you use within the app. We may use this information to operate, maintain, and manage our Online Services and to provide services such as technical support.


Mobile devices and location information

Mobile Apps may collect precise information about the location of your mobile device using technologies such as GPS, Wi-Fi, or cell tower proximity. The Doppler app uses this information for location-based services that track drive progress. For most mobile devices, you are able to withdraw your permission for HRPL to acquire this information on your location through the device settings. If you have questions about how to disable your mobile device’s location services, we recommend you contact your mobile device service provider or the device manufacturer. However, this information is required to perform driver functions.


Doppler does not sell personal information to third parties. However, some personal information may be, subject to compliance with this Policy, transferred, shared or disclosed to third parties including third party services. Such personal information may be transferred, shared or disclosed securely via modern cryptography e.g. over HTTPS. In case personal information (which includes the online behavioral analysis of the user of Online Services) is shared, transferred or disclosed to third party service providers, it shall be done so only for the specific business purposes, such as analytics or client reporting.


Doppler reserves the right to use or disclose any information as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request, to protect the integrity of the sites, to fulfil your requests, or to co-operate in any law enforcement investigation or an investigation on a matter of public safety.


Location Information

To participate as a Doppler Agent, you must permit the Doppler Drive Agent App to access location services through the permission system used by your mobile operating system (“Platform”) or browser. We may collect the precise location of your device when the Doppler Drive Agent app is running in the foreground or background of your device. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address. We use your location information to verify that you are present in your preferred region or city when you begin or engage in a delivery, connect you with delivery opportunities in your zone, and track the progress and completion of your Deliveries. You can enable the location tracking feature through the settings on your device or Platform or when prompted by the Doppler Drive Agent app. If you choose to disable the location feature through the settings on your device or Platform, Doppler will not receive precise location information from your device, which will prevent you from being able to receive Doppler drive opportunities in your area.


Sensitive information

Doppler will not collect, use or disclose sensitive information except with your specific consent.


Cookies

“Cookies” are pieces of information that a website transfers to an individual’s hard drive for record keeping purposes. Cookies allow the website to remember important information that will make your use of the sites more convenient. Like most websites, Doppler uses cookies for a variety of purposes in order to improve your on-line experience. e.g., we track the total number of visitors to our website on an anonymous aggregate basis.
